Confidential retained search. A growing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Creative Marketing Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact creative and marketing initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of creative execution, marketing strategy, project management, and business operations. Reports to the VP of Marketing. Compensation: $115,000–$145,000+ base + bonus + benefits.

What you'll do

  • Lead and scale the creative project management function across a growing portfolio of marketing initiatives
  • Own projects from ideation and planning through execution, launch, and completion
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and accountability
  • Coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining visibility into priorities and deadlines
  • Ensure marketing initiatives remain aligned with creative, brand, product, and business objectives
  • Identify potential risks and dependencies early and develop solutions to keep projects moving
  • Coordinate campaigns across digital, traditional, and licensing channels
  • Establish efficient workflows that allow creative and marketing initiatives to move seamlessly from concept to execution
  • Ensure deliverables meet established quality, timing, and performance expectations
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, resource constraints, or changing priorities
  • Develop repeatable processes that improve campaign execution and operational consistency
  • Support innovation in campaign development and project management methodologies
  • Optimize resource allocation across marketing and creative initiatives
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure adherence to approved financial parameters
  • Identify resource gaps and communicate capacity requirements to leadership
  • Balance competing project priorities and allocate resources according to business impact
  • Provide leadership with visibility into project performance, resource requirements, and potential constraints
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between creative, brand, product, sales, and other business teams
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Facilitate alignment around project objectives, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities while maintaining project momentum
  • Provide clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Resolve project issues and facilitate practical, solution-oriented decisions
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to campaign delivery, project performance, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
  • Develop reporting that provides leadership with clear visibility into project status and performance
  • Use data and project insights to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Track deadlines, budgets, resources, deliverables, and performance metrics across campaigns
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior marketing leadership
  • Develop and mentor high-performing marketing and creative project teams
  • Establish clear expectations for accountability, collaboration, quality, and delivery
  • Foster a culture of creativity, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Support team members in navigating complex projects and competing priorities
  • Encourage the adoption of effective project management practices and methodologies
  • Evaluate existing marketing project management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build systems and workflows that allow the organization to scale its campaign portfolio efficiently
  • Identify recurring operational challenges and develop sustainable solutions
  • Introduce improved project management practices, tools, and processes where appropriate
  • Drive continuous improvement across campaign planning, execution, communication, and reporting

What we're looking for

  • Strong professional experience in creative marketing project management
  • Experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Ideally, experience within a consumer goods, licensing, brand-focused, or similarly complex marketing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver measurable outcomes in deadline-driven environments
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience working across creative, brand, product, and sales functions
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaign development and execution
  • Demonstrated success improving marketing operations, efficiency, growth, or transformation
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • A calm, practical, and solution-oriented approach to complex situations
  • Ability to adapt quickly as priorities and business requirements evolve
  • Portfolio of creative and marketing project work, including LinkedIn profile

Nice to have

  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification
  • Experience with project management and collaboration platforms (Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Background in consumer goods, licensing, or brand-focused marketing
  • Experience with budget ownership and financial reporting for marketing programs
